Orlando leverages his unique background as a web3 startup founder and CEO—combined with his experience as a litigator and transactional attorney—to serve as trusted corporate and regulatory counsel to industry leading startups, foundations, and investment firms.
Orlando was the founder and CEO of a startup that developed ZK compliance solutions and DAO infrastructure. Before jumping into entrepreneurship, he was a startup and venture capital attorney for Gunderson Dettmer—the law firm that has represented the most amount of venture capital dollars raised since that metric's been measured—where he represented startups as their outside general counsel and VC firms in their financing deals. Prior to Gunderson, Orlando was a securities litigation and government enforcement attorney at Sidley Austin. His past clients at Gunderson and Sidley include Fortune 50 companies, Big Four accounting firms, elite VC firms, and various startups.
Orlando earned his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in Economics and Hispanic Studies and his J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Illinois.
